Improvement for Half-Life
Half-Life: New Light is a game utility application that brings improvement to the first-person shooter game, Half-Life. It brings visual upgrades as well as enhancement to the gunplay of the game. What the mod offers
Half-Life is a first-person action shooter game released in 1998. It was Valve’s debut product and the first installment of the Half-Life series. It features a scientist who needs to find his way out of a facility invaded by aliens. Its core gameplay consists of fighting both human and alien enemies with a variety of weapons. It also requires some puzzle solving. Unlike other similar games, it gives players almost uninterrupted control of the player. Also, it offers an immersive world rather than just an endless shooting gallery.
Half-Life: New Light works to provide players improved experience. Heavily inspired by the now-dead mod Blue Shift: New Light, it focuses more on enhancing the graphics of the game and providing new features. Among the new additions you can enjoy are the added separate weapon M4, which you can obtain from human grunts. There is also the Weapon Sway, which was introduced in Half-Life 2. More than weapons, there are also added features, such as smoke from muzzle and wall puffs, as well as simple shadows.
As noted, the mod is still in beta stage and comes with a few issues. For one, it does not support non-Steam—WON and Pirated—versions. Players may also experience the mouse twitching after installation. To fix this, you can go to the Mouse tab under the Options menu and click the Mouse Filter and Raw Mouse Input. You only need to click Apply and then OK button to enjoy your game.

Half-Life: New Light enhances the already popular game without changing anything from its campaign. More than the visual improvements, it also adds features to make your game more exciting. It still has a few kinks to work out, but, all in all, it is already a mod worth checking out.
